— Former CMLL and NJPW worker La Sombra made his WWE NXT debut at Friday night’s house show in Tampa, Florida. Sombra wrestled under his real name, Manny Adrade, and he defeated Riddick Moss with a running knee strike.

— New WWE SmackDown announcer Mauro Ranallo has reportedly finished up his tenure as an English commentator for NJPW on AXS TV. However, Ranallo will still be allowed to broadcast for boxing and kickboxing events.
