The potential exodus of talent New Japan to WWE has been the biggest story of the week thus far. From the initial reports of Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson giving their notice to WWE running an article discussing it, to Rocky Romero, Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale also being rumored to jump ship the news reports have been coming in quickly about this one.
While Romero, Fale and Tonga are rumored to be leaving New Japan for WWE, none of them have given notice as of yet. Finn Balor is believed to have been “recruiting” Fale and Tonga. Tonga has had offers in the past but hasn’t been interested, as he didn’t want to relocate from New Zealand to Orlando. Tonga lives in Orlando but is slated for a big push in New Japan due to the departures of Styles, Nakamura, Gallows and Anderson.
At this point, as previously noted, no one has officially signed with WWE or gone through their medical testing yet.
