Jim Ross has some good news for wrestling fans: Bret Hart has won his battle with prostate cancer. Ross appeared on The Gunz Show in 77 WABC Radio (via TMZ and said that he’d recently been texting with Hart when his fellow Hall of Famer gave him the good news.
“They removed the cancer by removing his prostate,” Ross said, adding, “His cancer is a non-issue now, thank god…All issues are resolved and addressed … so that’s the good news about Bret Hart.”
Hart announced he had been diagnosed at the beginning of February and underwent surgery on the 10th of the month.
