Last night’s episode of SmackDown was the lowest-rated for the show since it moved to the USA Network. The episode brought in 2.186 million viewers and a 0.65 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic, down 12% and 16% from last week’s 2.491 million and 0.77 demo rating. Those numbers are the lowest for a regular, non-holiday episode of Smackdown since the December 10th episode on SyFy had 2.133 million viewers and a 0.55 demo rating.
Smackdown ranked #6 among cable originals for the night, with the GOP debate on CNN winning at a 2.39 demo rating and 11.808 million viewers. The other top five programs were the NBA game between the Cavs and Lakers at #2, the pre-debate and post-debate on CNN at #3 and 4, and Vikings at #5.
