AJ Styles spoke with the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast over WrestleMania 32 weekend and talked about his relationship with TNA when he left. Styles said he had a heavy chip on his shoulder when he left the company and said, “I didn’t shed one tear when I left TNA. I was very emotional when I left New Japan.”
Styles added that he had nothing but respect for New Japan and that part of his decision to leave TNA was the opportunity to help NJPW. You can see the video below:
