Batista was offered a spot in The Legends vs. League of Nations segment at WrestleMania 32 but had to turn it down. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Batista met with Vince McMahon at the Royal Rumble and was pitched on appearing in the segment that featured Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels confronting the League after their win over the New Day at the event.
Batista had to turn down the role, as he was tied up with filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The former WWE champion has been busy in Hollywood as of late after his appearance as Drax in the first Guardians; among his major film roles have been Mr. Hinx in Spectre and an as-yet-undisclosed supporting role in Blade Runner 2.
