Backstage Report – WWE Interested In Lucha Underground Talents

Besides Ricohet (aka Prince Puma in Lucha Underground), WWE is currently interested in some other Lucha Underground talents. According to sources, WWE could potentially pitch talent contracts to other Lucha Underground talents during the break between the seasons.

The plan is for WWE to bring in five Mexican wrestlers for the Global Cruiserweight Series. The series begins taping later this June. The current season of Lucha Underground will end at around that time. Lucha Underground talents have it in their contracts that they are prohibited from appearing on other promotions while a current season is airing on TV.
