At last night’s Lucha Underground tapings, Matanza suffered an injury. The injury happened during a “death match” between Matanza and Dragon Azteca. Matanza sliced open his arm after doing a spot where he put his fist through a window. There was a long delay, but the match couldn’t continue. They then sent out Johnny Mundo and PJ Black to play to the crowd, ending in Rey Mysterio Jr. and Dragon Azteca coming from the back to hit stereo 619s on them before cutting a baby face promo.
Matanza punched the wrong window, causing the injury. An ambulance was called, and was still at the building as the fans were allowed to leave.
