Rene Dupree has voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit he filed against WWE over unpaid WWE Network royalties. As reported last week, Dupree (real name Rene Goguen) filed the class action suit claiming that he and other on-screen talent have not seen any royalty pay from the WWE Network or videos streamed on Netflix and that his booking contract included payouts for “technology not yet created.”
At the time, WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt said that Goguen signed a contract in 2011 that denies him the ability to bring such a lawsuit and that Goguen’s attorney had suggested he didn’t know about that contract. PWTorch now reports that the lawsuit has been dismissed by Goguen without prejudice.
