According to The Asbury Park Press, the Monmouth County, New Jersey Prosecutor’s office did not believe the death of Balls Mahoney was suspicious. Charles Webster, spokesperson for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, gave the following statement to the paper…
“The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner and it usually takes a few months for all the studies and reports to be returned.”
The Spring Lake Heights Police Department declined further comment on the death.
