A lot of people within WWE were shocked at Adam Rose’s public statement about his WWE suspension for his second Wellness Policy violation. As reported last Wednesday, Rose took to Twitter to say that he had done “anything knowingly wrong” and that he followed all the correct protocols and that he and his doctors would be making a public statement soon.
According to sources, Rose has never been known as someone who spoke out of turn or was a problem backstage; he is seen as a hard worker who does what he’s told. WWE officials were unaware that he was planning a public response and that while many backstage were shocked, they also have a lot more respect for him now.
One source noted that Konnor didn’t test positive for anything illegal.
