The Great Khali Responds To Recent Injury Reports, More

The Great Khali was attacked with steel chairs in February at the end of an event from his promotion Continental Wrestling Entertainment. News Laundry has a story about how top media sources in India reported on the angle like it was real. It noted that Western media reports on wrestling but uses phrases like “storyline” and “scripted entertainment”.

Khali said that his product was misunderstood and “expressed dismay” about the controversy surrounding his product. He said the CWE is “sports entertainment” and said the matches should be viewed only in that context.
