WWE has released announcer Rich Brennan. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the company informed Brennan that he was being released this afternoon. There’s no word on the reason for his release.
Brennan has been working with WWE since 2014, doing play-by-play for NXT and was eventually pushed to lead announcer on Smackdown. He was moved out of that position after Mauro Ranallo came on board and was transitioned to backstage interviewer.
