UPDATE: Following a report on Thursday that he didn’t work the SmackDown taping to rest up, WWE has now pulled AJ Styles from the weekend house shows. Styles was set for Friday in Greenville, South Carolina; Saturday in Raleigh, North Carolina and Sunday in Columbia, South Carolina.
WWE is letting Styles deal with a few nagging injuries so that he’s fully healthy for his match at Extreme Rules.
ORIGINAL: AJ Styles did not wrestle on Smackdown, as he was given some time off to deal with nagging injuries. WWE wants him as healthy as possible for the Extreme Rules PPV.
