Backstage Update – WWE NXT Superstar Elias Samson Injured?

UPDATE: As previously reported, NXT Superstar Elias Samson reportedly suffered an injury at Friday night’s house show in Nashville, Tennessee. Some video footage of Samson in the ring after suffering the injury was posted on Twitter, which you can check out below. According to the user, Samson was helped to the back after the match was stopped very quickly.

ORIGINAL: Elias Samson may have been injured at the NXT house show in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday night. Samson was working a match with Andrade Almas and performed a stun gun.

According to someone at the show, “The next thing we saw was the referee throw up the X sign. Elias hit the mat in frustration and was then helped to the back to a standing ovation. He couldn’t put weight on his left leg.”
