As previously reported, Tommy Dreamer was backstage at this week’s SmackDown tapings.
According to sources, WWE had contacted him about coming in for the brand split, but they wanted him to sign a contract that wouldn’t allow him to run his House of Hardcore promotion. There is no word on if this was WWE telling him that he couldn’t run his shows or if it is a case of him being too busy with the proposed schedule by WWE.
There is no word on if Dreamer signed a WWE contract. We hope to have more shortly.
