Backstage Rumor – Charlotte Asks For Some Time Off?

According to sources, Charlotte dropping the WWE Women’s Title to Sasha Banks may be due to giving the now-former champion some time off in the near future. There are rumors that Charlotte asked for some time off, that is not confirmed.

It is worth noting, however, that Ric Flair noted on his podcast that a rematch between the two is on the horizon for SummerSlam. Charlotte could still take time off after that, but it does seem as if she will be sticking around at least until the August PPV.
