Brock Lesnar Wins His MMA Return At The UFC 200 Pay-Per-View Event

Brock Lesnar returned to MMA last night at UFC 200, facing UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt. In the fight, Lesnar took round one finding success by getting Hunt to the ground. Lesnar did not do a ton of damage, but considering his near five-year absence, looked good. In round two, Hunt did well to keep the fight on the feet, trying to establish his striking and largely avoiding Lesnar’s takedowns. Hunt looked relaxed and was constantly center cage, pressing Lesnar back but not doing much in what was a rather uneventful round. Early in round three, Lesnar was able to get a takedown and then worked short lefts on Hunt from the half guard. They weren’t devastating shots, but Lesnar stayed busy, allowing him to keep the fight on the ground. Lesnar moved to the guard and kept delivering strikes as we had two minutes left in the fight. Lesnar dominated the remainder of the round, but could not finish Hunt as they went to a decision.

Brock Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-27, 29-27). Lesnar is now 6-3 as a professional MMA fighte.
