VIDEO: John Cena Reacts To Hosting Last Week’s ESPY Awards Show

A new video is online featuring John Cena giving his thoughts on hosting the ESPYs last week. He called it a “nerve wracking” experience with a tough crowd. He spoke about the “powerful messages” at the start of the show, roasting athletes during the opening monologue and more. He hoped that no one took his jokes too seriously. He also spoke about introducing Vice President Joe Biden, who gave the Jimmy V Perseverance Award to reporter Craig Sager, who is fighting cancer. Cena said it was “personally satisfying” and that it spoke about Sager and what the ESPYs mean.
