— Jeff Hardy may have told us the name for Final Deletion II already. Hardy spoke with LA Weekly last month promoting his appearance at Gathering of the Juggalos and teased the potential sequel at the time, which was confirmed as being built to in a report on Friday.
When asked about the match, Hardy said, “The sequel’s gonna be called ‘The Final Liquidation.’ We have so many outrageous ideas.”
The original report from Friday said that the match was being referred to as “Final Deletion II: Decay or Die” and would pitt Matt and Jeff against Decay. It’s entirely possible that this is a change from the original plans for last month, or that only the match name is being changed. TNA has yet to officially announce the sequel match but there was filming done around Matt Hardy’s home last week for material that will build to the event.
