Ahmedabadmirror.com reports that Sony is rumored to be acquiring Ten Network in India. Sony Six is TNA’s partner in the country and airs their programs. It would be a big deal if Sony acquired the programming. However, the website also notes that Sony would also acquire the rights to WWE programming in the country through Ten.
WWE usually has exclusive deals with TV partners. TNA and Sony Six announced a long term agreement last year that runs through 2022. If there are no outs, then TNA’s partnership should be safe until then.
