WWE appears to have signed one of its Cruiserweight Classic competitors. The company filed two trademark applications for Gran Metalik, which would suggest that they have signed him to a deal.
The applications are for clothing related to the name, as well as for the character in “wrestling exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers and entertainers rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service.”
