Backstage Report – WWE Interested In Olympian Erica Wiebe

According to Squared Circle Sirens, WWE is interested in Canadian Olympic wrestler Erica Wiebe. Wiebe, 27, competed as part of Canada’s 2016 Olympic team and defeated Guzel Manyurova to win a gold medal this year. She confirmed the news during an interview with TSN Radio Vancouver.

WWE has been showing a lot of interest in Olympians, with reports that they were scouting fellow female Olympic wrestler Adeline Gray as well as Puerto Rican Olympic wrestler and silver medalist Jaime Espinal.
