Last week it was revealed that Paige would be returning to WWE. As of today, her suspension is over but the lead up to the suspension almost saw her and WWE part ways.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Paige had hired legal representation and she did quit WWE at one point. WWE also had reportedly made the decision to fire her prior to her suspension. WWE changed their mind, and the two sides have now reportedly mended fence, leading to her return.
In regards to her wellness suspension, Paige claimed last week that her suspension was not for a failed drug test, claiming that it was a “procedural issue” because she wasn’t home when she was to take the test.
