2017 Royal Rumble PPV Set To Take Place At The Alamodome

WWE has officially announced that the 2017 Royal Rumble will take place in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The announcement comes after an initial report that this would be the case earlier in the day. This is the first time the PPV has taken place in the Alamodome since 1997.

Tickets for the event go on sale on October 14th at 10 AM CT through Ticketmaster outlets. The announcement notes that the Royal Rumble will include stars from both Raw and SmackDown, with the winner receiving the traditional title shot at WrestleMania.
