Eric Bischoff is at the point of agreeing with the sentiment that TNA as more interesting things going on behind the scenes than on the screen. Bischoff discussed the latest details in Billy Corgan’s lawsuit against TNA and the company’s current state, saying that TNA should just film a reality series.
“My current thoughts are they should quit producing professional wrestling and just shoot a reality show about what’s going on in TNA,” said Bischoff. “It’s a drama by any other name. You could even script it. It could be a scripted drama and probably do really well. It’s just so fascinating. I wrote an article yesterday for WrestleZone talking about swerves, plot twists and all of those things that are going on in politics and the same kinds of things that are going on in TNA right now. You have Billy Corgan who apparently kind of rode in on a white horse several months ago to save TNA. It looked like there was a love fest between he and Dixie. I remember seeing something Dixie allegedly wrote where she said that she probably talks to Billy more frequently than she talks to anybody else. The image we were given is that they were very tight. Billy was there because of his vision and all that. That may have been indeed the case. I don’t know. I wasn’t there. To fast forward to as recently as last week where now you’ve got attorneys for TNA basically saying that it was a Machiavellian power play. That the only reason Billy lent anybody any money was to get them over the barrel so he could come in and steal the company out from underneath them. That’s some Shakespearean stuff there, man. That’s some pretty good material.”
