Emmalina finally “premiered” on Raw after 17 weeks of promos in what turned out to be a continuation of WWE pretty much “trolling” everyone.
“For 17 weeks, you’ve waited for the makeover of Emma to Emmalina. Well, here I am. And now, now you will see the makeover from Emmalina to Emma. Thank you.”
As previously mentioned, WWE apparently never really had anything planned for exactly where to go with the Emmalina character as of a couple of weeks ago, so it turned into a “running joke.” I personally like what they decided to do, since it’s pretty funny and also will get Emma heel heat if she returns to her “Evil Emma” gimmick. Seems to be “making fun of” the “sexy diva” gimmick in the new era of WWE women’s wrestling.
