TMZ interviewed Matt Hardy and while completely staying in character, he basically says that he has been in talks with WWE as well as a bunch of other wrestling organizations, then says that he is “watching [Vince McMahon] very closely” and if he tries “anything shady,” he will “delete” him.
TMZ: Any chance for a return at WrestleMania?
Hardy: When you’re dealing with the Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero, anything is possible.
TMZ: Have conversations taken place between you and anybody in charge over at WWE?
Hardy: I have had conversations with every promoter that runs every major wrestling promotion across the world, whether it be Ring of Honor, where we are currently signed right now to a contract, the biggest contract in ROH history, and if you double that contract, we will come work for you and not that evil Meekmahan or that man with three H’s. But of course I have spoken to people from Meekmahan’s show. I have spoken to people from New Japan Wrestling. I have spoken to people from Mexico. I have spoken to people across the globe.
Meekmahan, you are on Vanguard 1’s radar. We are watching you very closely. I have Vanguard 1 monitoring you 24/7, Meekmahan. If you ever try anything shady on my broken brilliance, I will be the first to DELETE you.
