In-Ring Segment: The Miz, Maryse, Dean Ambrose

John Cena’s music hits, and The Miz comes out dressed as John Cena, alongside Maryse, who is dressed like Nikki Bella. The crowd boos them as they get into the ring. Miz/Cena says, “The Champ is here!” Rule #1 of John Cena’s house rules states that no one can chant, “Cena sucks.” The crowd immediately breaks that rule. Miz/Cena talks mechanically about how he didn’t propose at WrestleMania for free publicity. Maryse/Nikki says Hollywood didn’t want them. Miz/Cena says they stink because they are not good actors and robotic. Miz/Cena says they have taken advantage of the Superstar Shake-Up and come to Monday Night RAW.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose makes an appearance. Ambrose says it’s nice to see familiar faces coming over to RAW. Ambrose then gives them a headlock and says he’s so happy they’re engaged. Miz/Cena tries to speak, but Ambrose cuts him off. Ambrose congratulates them on coming back to RAW, becoming engaged, and defeating The Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania because they stink. Ambrose congratulates “Cena” on his success in Hollywood. Miz explains to Ambrose that he is not John Cena and Maryse is not Nikki Bella. Ambrose looks floored when they remove their hat and wig. Ambrose says, “Oh… in that case…” Ambrose then kicks The Miz in the gut and gives him Dirty Deeds. Ambrose celebrates with the crowd.


Backstage: Kurt Angle, Sami Zayn, The Miz

WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle is on the phone when Sami Zayn walks in. Zayn says he’s probably getting it from every direction, but he has to know what’s going on with his career. Zayn wants to know if he’s moving to Smackdown Live or staying on RAW. People think he should be on Smackdown, but now that Angle is here, everything is different. Angle says there is a lot of interest from Smackdown. Zayn is surprised by that. The Miz and Maryse walk in and demand to know what kind of show Angle is running here. Zayn introduces himself, but Miz says the grown-ups are talking. Zayn challenges him to shut his mouth for him. Angle says he is not here for backstage politics. For now, Zayn is still on RAW. If Miz wants respect, he’ll have to earn it against Zayn. They walk off. Angle is stunned at how much has happened in his short two weeks.


The New Day vs. The Revival

“OHH LONG ISLAND — DON’T YOU DARE BE SOUR! CLAP FOR YOUR LONGEST-REIGNING TAG CHAMPS AND FEEL THE POWER!”

The New Day (minus Kofi Kingston) come out with their ice cream cart. Big E is holding a Kofi Kingston blow-up doll. They get in the ring and grab some microphones. Big E says this may come as a surprise to the crowd, but this is not Kingston. Xavier Woods says his spirit lives in the blow-up doll. Big E says The Revival wants to be top contenders, but they’re top contenders to have their boots betwixt their buns. Woods says The Revival knocked over their cart and hurt Kingston. Now it’s time to get some because New Day rocks!

The Revival come out wearing shirts that say, “Rest in Peace Ice Cream Cart: 2017-2017,” and, “We Broke Kofi’s Ankle.”

Xavier Woods starts against Dash Wilder. Wood immediately gets on the offensive and forearms him in the corner. Big E tags in, and he hits a running shoulder before Woods clotheslines him down. Big E picks up a two count. Woods tags back in, and Big E gives him a wheelbarrow splash onto Wilder for a two count. Woods applies an arm bar, and Scott Dawson gets a distraction. Wilder takes Woods down by the hair. Dawson tags in, and they slam Woods down.

We come back from the break to see Dawson grounding Woods. Woods fights up and elbows out, but Dawson quickly floors him with a back suplex for a two count. Dawson rips at the hair. Wilder is tagged in, and Woods fights back at him. Woods goes for a sunset flip, but Dawson tags in and stops it. Dawson goes for a back suplex, but Woods flips through and lands on his feet before taking him down with a forearm smash.

Big E and Wilder are tagged in. Big E hits a trio of belly-to-belly suplexes before following up with a big splash. Big E gets the crowd going before throwing Dawson out of the ring. Wilder goes for a roll-up, but Big E holds the ropes. Dawson distracts him, so Wilder rolls him up with a handful of tights for a two count. Dawson tags in, but Big E runs through them. Woods is tagged in. Big E gives Dawson a belly-to-belly suplex into the corner. Big E sets Dawson up across the ring. On the other side of the ring, Woods springboards off the top rope 20 feet across the ring to drop an elbow for a near fall! Wilder blind tags in. Woods knocks Wilder out of the ring. The New Day goes for The Midnight Hour on Dawson, who is not the legal man. Wilder breaks it up. Woods comes off the top rope into the Shatter Machine, and it was a VICIOUS landing. Woods took a nasty bump onto his face and neck. The Revival picks up the win.

Backstage: Neville and TJ Perkins

Charly Caruso interviews WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville backstage about Austin Aries. Neville criticizes Aries and the rest of the Cruiserweights. TJ Perkins walks up and says he better watch what he says before someone makes him eat his words. Perkins says he’s the guy to do that. Neville says Perkins was the inaugural champion, but now he’s a joke. Neville talks about how he has some respect for Perkins. Austin Aries walks up to him and says Perkins’ opportunities haven’t been given to him. Neville says Aries is the selfish one and walks off. Aries asks Perkins if he actually believes Neville’s lies.


In-Ring Segment: Curt Hawkins and Big Show

Curt Hawkins makes his debut on RAW due to the Superstar Shake-Up. Hawkins tells the crowd to prepare to face the facts because he’s back on RAW. This is the greatest get since the Louisiana Purchase. Hawkins wants a welcoming committee. Big Show’s music hits, and he comes down to the ring. Big Show stares at Hawkins. Hawkins goes for a hug, but Big Show knocks him out with a Knockout Punch. Big Show then walks off.


Cruiserweight Match
Austin Aries vs. TJ Perkins

They circle the ring, and Perkins gets a waistlock applied. Aries turns it and takes him down before rolling around on him for a one count. Perkins soon takes Aries down before fixing his hair. The crowd is turning on Perkins. Perkins works the arm, but Aries fights up and takes him down before doing a headstand into a dropkick. Aries then lays out across the top turnbuckle. Aries elbows him in the face, but Perkins soon drops him on the apron. Aries takes him down and hits a slingshot senton. Aries takes him down, goes to the second rope, and elbows him in the neck for a two count. Perkin attacks Aries and taunts him by tying himself up in the ropes. Aries tries to attack, but Perkins moves. Perkins goes for a slingshot dropkick, but Aries moves. Aries goes to the top rope and hits a double axe handle to the floor. Aries then stands on the barricade and taunts Neville. Neville gets off commentary and goes down the ramp. Aries stares at him and nearly gets counted out. Perkins then rolls him up in the ring for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: TJ Perkins

Aries stares angrily at Neville before being attacked from behind by Perkins. Perkins takes him down before laying him out with a Detonation Kick. Perkins stares at Neville and his championship.


In-Ring Segment: Seth Rollins, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring to a nice reception. Rollins wasn’t sure if he’d have the opportunity to have a conversation with the people ever again. Rollins put every single thing he had to get ready for WrestleMania that he didn’t think of what would happen AFTER WrestleMania. Rollins’ knee was sore after his match with Triple H, but mentally and emotionally he was at peace because he knew he left it all in the ring. More importantly, he did it. Rollins then says “WE” did it. Rollins wants to step back and thank the fans from the bottom of his heart for giving him a second chance and having his back. WrestleMania was not the finish line. They are just getting started on Monday Night RAW. He’s got a lot of thing he wants to get settled. Rollins wants to get revenge on Samoa Joe. Rollins also wants a shot at the WWE Universal Champion. The problem he’s running into is based on something that happened at WrestleMania, he may not get that opportunity. Footage is shown of Stephanie McMahon inadvertently being knocked through a table.

A loud “Thank you Seth” chant fires up. Rollins says he won’t be Employee of the Month. Eventually, Stephanie McMahon will get healthy and come back to work. She’ll see his face and be reminded of her failure and her husband’s defeat at WrestleMania. It’s probably easier to accept things like they are, pack his bags, and go to Smackdown Live. That’s the easy way out. A “NO” chant fires up. Rollin says he took the easy way out once before and won’t do it again. That is not who he is or the man he wants to be. If Stephanie McMahon wants to ship him off to Tuesday night, she needs an army to get him there. He’s not leaving Monday Night RAW without a fight.

Kurt Angle’s music hits, and he comes out to a big pop from the crowd as they sing, “You Suck” to his song. Angle says it’s true that Stephanie made it clear she wants him gone. Angle says he saw something in Rollins at WrestleMania that he hadn’t seen before. Angle thought it was impressive that he won an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken freakin’ neck, but Rollins was the one-legged man in an ass kicking contest that won. Angle says as long as he’s GM, Rollins has a home on Monday Night RAW. Angle finishes by saying, “Oh it’s true… it’s DAMN true!” Angle’s music then plays, and he walks off.

Samoa Joe comes through the crowd and attacks Rollins from behind. Angle runs into the ring and tries to pull Joe off him. They continue to brawl with Angle trying to regain control. Rollins eventually takes Joe down with an enzuigiri and a superkick. Joe then gets out of the ring. Rollins challenges him to get back in the ring, but Joe declines.


Backstage Interview: Kevin Owens

Charly Caruso is backstage with the WWE United States Champion, Kevin Owens. She asks how the Superstar Shake-Up will impact him. Owens says the cream always rises to the top like it did at WrestleMania when he beat Chris Jericho to take the United States Championship. Owens tells her to find Chris Jericho and ask how the shake-up affects him. Owens says that Jericho is still home recovering from the powerbomb he gave him last week. Owens says he’s the United States Champion and the face of America, as well as the #1 Champion on RAW. She asks about Dean Ambrose with the Intercontinental Title. Owens warns Ambrose to not forget his place otherwise he’ll show him why he’s the premiere champion on RAW because this is The Kevin Owens Show.


Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax

They lock up, and Jax face plants her. Flair goes for a waistlock, but Jax breaks the hold and throws her. Flair kicks and knees her before hitting the ropes, but Jax avalanches her. Flair elbows her back, so Jax takes her down with a shoulder-breaker that spikes her on her head. The referee immediately runs over to check on her. After being given the all clear, Jax continues the attack. Jax soon applies a cobra clutch, but Flair fights up. There’s some miscommunication before Jax throws her across the ring. Jax chokes her against the ropes. Flair chops back at her before going to the apron. Flair goes for a roll-up, but Jax doesn’t go down. Flair eventually chop blocks her and hits Natural Selection for a near fall. Jax pushes her before Flair moves, and she hits the ring post with her shoulder. Flair pushes her into the ring post to knock her to the floor. Flair goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault block to the floor. Jax doesn’t go down with her fluidly, so Flair winds up landing on her face. Flair gets in the ring, but Jax gets in before being counted out. Flair is bleeding from the elbow. Flair boots her down and goes for a Figure Four Leglock, but Jax pulls her off into the turnbuckle. Jax eventually avalanches her and gives her a Samoan Drop for the win.

A video package is played highlighting the career of Finn Bálor.


Jinder Mahal vs. Finn Bálor

They lock up, and Mahal powers him into the ropes before shoving him. Bálor comes back with some punches, but Mahal knees him. Bálor reverses a whip and rolls through a sunset flip to dropkick him. Bálor takes him down with an arm drag. Mahal fights up and powers him to the roles. Mahal kicks the top rope into his neck before dropping some knees on him. Mahal picks up a pair of one counts. Mahal applies a chin lock, but Bálor fights up and elbows out. Bálor hits a striking combination on him before hitting the ropes. Mahal takes him down with a right hand. Bálor fights out of a chin lock with a pelé kick. Bálor takes him down with a Sling Blade before giving him a vicious dropkick into the corner. Bálor follows up with the Coup de Grâce for the win.

Segment: Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt’s video flashes on the screen. Wyatt says everywhere he goes, darkness finds him. This is his new home. Wyatt didn’t come to RAW empty-handed. He came with a very special gift. This gift is Payback. In three weeks, the entire world will be able to watch him torture Randy Orton in his very own house of horrors. As for Finn Bálor, he should watch himself because he’ll be watching him. Wyatt says, “Monday Night RAW… I’m here.” Wyatt then blows out the lantern.


Apollo Crews has come from Smackdown Live to RAW. RAW is also getting Kalisto and the tag team of Heath Slater and Rhyno.


The Miz w/ Maryse vs. Sami Zayn

They take their time before locking up. Zayn applies a hammerlock, but Miz elbows out and punches him. Miz sends him into the ropes, but Zayn slingshots over him, hits a trio of arm drags, and clotheslines him out of the ring. Zayn goes for a senton, but Miz pulls Maryse in front of him, so Zayn puts on the brakes.

We come back from the break to see Zayn trapped in a chin lock. Zayn fights up and goes for a back suplex, but Miz flips through and lands on his feet. Miz follows up with a Reality Check for a near fall. Miz puts Zayn on the top rope and mocks the “Olé” chant. Miz goes for a superplex, but Zayn fights him off. Zayn leaps, but Miz moves. Miz catches him with a kneeling DDT for a near fall. Miz mocks Daniel Bryan’s “YES” taunt and the “YES” kicks. Zayn ducks the big kick to the head and hits the Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Maryse pulls Miz out of the ring before Zayn hits the Helluva Kick. Zayn follows him out, so Miz runs into the ring. Maryse pulls the foot to distract him. Miz goes for a Skull Crushing Finale, but Zayn counters into a roll-up for the win.

Interview: Roman Reigns Interviewed By Michael Cole

Michael Cole is backstage with Roman Reigns. Cole asks if he feels any responsibility or remorse over WrestleMania possibly being the end of The Undertaker’s career. Reigns says this is the biggest victory of his career, but it was the heaviest. It was bittersweet. He respects The Undertaker. How do you prepare to retire a legend, someone you respect? Reigns says he has to do what he has to do. Reigns says he’s the big dog now, and this is his yard. All of a sudden, Braun Strowman attacks Reigns from behind. Strowman throws him into some pipes backstage before slamming him through tables. Strowman threatens the referees that try to help. Strowman drags Reigns around and slams him into the metal garage door twice before giving him a powerslam onto a crate! Strowman then gets a crate and rolls it into Reigns’ face! Strowman then calmly walks off while referees and security check on Reigns.

Replays are shown of what just happened. The Long Island fans are chanting, “You deserve it” while Reigns is being loaded onto a stretcher. All of a sudden, Strowman comes back and rolls the stretcher off a ledge. Reigns seemingly lands on his face! Strowman then walks off for good.

More replays are shown of that savage attack. The EMTs finally get Reigns into the ambulance. Strowman comes back AGAIN and punches away at Reigns inside the ambulance. Then Strowman goes outside and FLIPS THE AMBULANCE OVER!

After commercials, we go backstage to see EMTs pulling Reigns out of the flipped ambulance to load him into a second medical transport. The commentators talk about how a reporter is on the way to the medical facility to get an update on Roman Reigns.


Gallows and Anderson and The Shining Stars vs. Cesaro and Sheamus, and The Hardy Boyz


The Drifter from NXT shows up on the stage. Matt Hardy starts against Primo. Matt quickly takes him down with a hip toss. Jeff Hardy tags in, and he works Primo’s arm before taking him down and dropkicking him in the head. Cesaro tags in, and Primo tags Karl Anderson. Sheamus tags in, and they hit a double-team rolling senton/double stomp combo for a two count. Sheamus uppercuts Anderson before tagging Cesaro in. Cesaro hits a running uppercut before Sheamus shoulders him. Cesaro then hits a springboard cross-body block for a two count. Cesaro goes for the Cesaro Swing, but Anderson fights out of it.

We come back from the break to see Cesaro fight up against Gallows. Cesaro elbows him, but Anderson blind tags in. They then hit Cesaro with 3D II, but Sheamus breaks up the pin. Primo hits a Backstabber on Sheamus. Epico tags in and goes for the Hardy’s, but Matt punches him away. Matt tags in, and the “DELETE” chants fire up. Matt punches and smashes him off the top turnbuckle. Matt then hits Epico with a bulldog. Matt then hits Primo with a Side Effect. Matt goes for a Twist of Fate, but Gallows kicks him. Jeff hits Gallows with a Twist of Fate to knock him from the ring. Sheamus and Cesaro then attack Anderson and knock him from the ring. The Hardy Boyz then hit Poetry in Motion over the top rope to the floor. Matt hits Epico with a Twist of Fate and tags in Jeff, who hits a Swanton Bomb for the win.

Winners by Pinfall: Cesaro and Sheamus, and The Hardy Boyz

The Hardy Boyz will defend their WWE RAW Tag Team Championships against Cesaro and Sheamus at WWE Payback in three weeks.


Backstage: Dana Brooke and Emma

Dana Brooke is reading a book called, “How To Be Your Own Protégé” when Emma walks up. Emma says before Dana was running around with Charlotte, she was with her. If it wasn’t for her, Dana wouldn’t be on RAW. Now she’s here to pick up the pieces. Emma says, “Let’s go.” Dana says while she was going through an identity crisis, the entire Women’s Division got better. She may not be the best, but she’s making strides and standing on her own two feet. She’s not going with Emma or anyone else anymore. Dana walks off while Emma looks disgusted.


In-Ring Segment: Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Nia Jax

Sasha Banks makes her entrance to a decent reception. She gets into the ring and grabs a microphone. Everyone must be wondering why she’s out here. She has unfinished business. Banks then introduces her best friend, Just Bayley.

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bayley makes her way to the ring to a nice reaction from the Long Island crowd. Bayley has been meaning to say something since WrestleMania. She wants to thank the crowd. The crowd was with her from the first day in NXT, stayed by her side in WWE, and without them, the 12-year old in her heart wouldn’t have had her WrestleMania moment and dream come true. Bayley thanks them for believing in her. There are some light boos for her. Banks wants to congratulate her on the biggest moment in her career, but the moment is over. Banks says she’s out here to ask her…

Alexa Bliss’ music hits, and she makes her way to the ring to a big reception! Bliss looks disgusted by the big reaction she got. Bliss asks if they can be anymore nauseating. Bliss says she doesn’t need the crowd’s approval. The only person that needs recognition is her. She’s here to put an end to this Sasha/Bayley sideshow. It’s kind of weird. She’s here to take over the RAW Women’s Division. She’s arrived on RAW. She’s excited to leave the Smackdown Live drama behind her.

Mickie James’ music hits, and she comes out to the ring while Bliss looks very confused. James says she’s arrived on RAW. Some may argue that she is the greatest Women’s Champion of all time, and she is the only six-time WWE Women’s Champion. Bliss drama isn’t over. The nightmare has just begun. Nia Jax runs down and avalanches Mickie James. Bliss shoves Banks into Jax and gets out of the ring. Jax throws Banks out of the ring before giving Bayley a Samoan Drop. Jax says the title is hers.


WWE US Champion vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion
Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose

The bell rings, and Owens quickly punches and kicks him down before talking some trash. Ambrose turns him around in the corner and kicks away at him. Ambrose slingshots over him and goes for Dirty Deeds, but Owens gets out of the ring. Ambrose follows him out. Owens clubs the back before having a whip reversed into the barricade. Ambrose punches him before putting him back into the ring, but Owens quickly rolls back out. Ambrose then takes him down with a plancha.

We come back from the break to see Owens punching away at Ambrose. Owens puts him into the ropes, but Ambrose takes him down and punches away at him. Ambrose hits a running forearm in the corner and goes for a shoulder, but Owens moves, so he hits the ring post shoulder first. Owens gets on the apron and knees Ambrose’s head into the ring post. Owens picks up a near fall. Owens applies a chin lock. Owens holds it on for a bit and keeps Ambrose grounded. Ambrose finally fights up and head-butts him, but Owens quickly sends him over the top rope to the floor. Owens quickly goes outside, puts Ambrose on his shoulders, and sends him into the ring post ribs first. Owens gets in the ring and waits for a count-out. Ambrose gets back in at nine. Owens catches him with a nasty pumphandle neckbreaker for a near fall. Owens cannot believe it. Owens goes for a senton splash, but Ambrose gets the knees up. Ambrose then sends Owens out of the ring and wipes him out with a suicide dive. The momentum takes Ambrose into the front row.

Ambrose holds his ribs in pain while he gets back into the ring. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Owens fights out. Ambrose punches back at him before having a whip reversed. Ambrose hits a pair of clotheslines followed by a neckbreaker. Ambrose hits a running forearm and goes for a bulldog, but Owens sends him into the corner. Owens runs into a boot, and Ambrose crotches him on the top rope. Ambrose goes to the second rope and clotheslines him off for a near fall. Ambrose goes back to the top rope, but Owens rolls out of the ring. Ambrose simply redirects and hits Owens with a flying elbow to the floor! Ambrose gets Owens back in the ring and goes back to the top rope. Ambrose dives into a kick to the ribs. Owens hits a package powerbomb for a near fall. Owens is showing his frustration and goes for a Pop-up Powerbomb, but Ambrose counters into a hurricanrana. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Owens elbows him. Ambrose goes for a Lunatic Lariat, but Owens kicks him. Finally, Ambrose floors Owens with Dirty Deeds for the win.

Dean Ambrose celebrates with the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Chris Jericho’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Jericho then takes him down with a Codebreaker. A “Y2J” chant breaks out as the show comes to an end.
