Matt Hardy tweeted out the following today in response to a fan, claiming that Anthem/Impact “Executive Vice President” Ed Nordholm is “keeping the #BROKEN Universe hostage”:
@IMPACTWRESTLING U know who loses out of the war over #BROKEN ? Not @MATTHARDYBRAND or @JEFFHARDYBRAND Just u and the fans who resent u 4 it

Shows they DO NOT care about the fans. @EdNordholm wants to keep MY creation, the #BROKEN Universe, hostage from fans who wish to see it. https://t.co/AREDlSQ9Qn

WWE and Impact have reportedly been trying to work out a deal for WWE to gain access to the rights to use the “Broken” gimmick and previous signs seemed positive, but it now seems like things aren’t exactly going smoothly.
Impact also recently filed for several “Broken” trademarks, including “Broken Matt,” “Brother Nero,” “Broken Brilliance,” and “Vanguard1.”
Yesterday, Reby Hardy claimed that Impact is “going after her”:
TNA:
Cut everyone's pay & lay off a bunch of peopleALSO TNA:
Let's spend $ to go after a woman who's 8mo. pregnant & no longer works here— Reby Hardy (@RebyHardy) May 6, 2017
Not much else is known about what exactly is going on “behind the scenes” for now…
