WWE Interested in World of Sport Star for Women’s Tournament

The WWE is currently reported to be interested in Scottish wrestler Viper for their upcoming Mae Young Classic tournament, according to the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer.

Talks between the two sides were reported to have recently started although the status of Viper’s contract with World of Sport is currently unknown. While ITV have signed wrestlers to exclusive contracts for World of Sport, it is unknown if Viper’s contract with ITV is also exclusive or if the WWE considers these contracts no longer legally binding due to World of Sport’s uncertain future and delays.

New WWE Trademarks

WWE has recently filed for two new trademarks with one called “WWE Rockstars” and revealed to be for a wrestler. This trademark could be for or in relation to Nakamura’s current “Rock Star” nickname.

The other trademark filed was for the term “Bruiserweight” meant for Pete Dunne.
