WWE is currently rumored to be open to the possibility of bringing Mauro Ranallo back to Smackdown, according to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer hinted the likelihood of it actually happening is very slim to none due to the deep rift caused by the JBL bullying saga and Ranallo himself being very busy with non-wrestling shows. Both Mauro and WWE recently agreed to a settlement involving WWE paying the remainder of Mauro’s contract till its expiration in mid-August.
