After undergoing minor elbow surgery just about a month ago, Braun Strowman already returned to Raw tonight to attack Roman Reigns and set up an “ambulance match” against him at Great Balls of Fire. That match had originally been planned for the Extreme Rules PPV. WWE’s plan as of last week is still that Strowman will end up facing Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, so we’ll if/how things end up that way, since Roman Reigns also announced on Raw that he wants the winner of Lesnar vs. Joe. I guess if Strowman beats Reigns, he could rightfully claim that he’s actually the #1 contender.
