John Cena to be Guest on Jimmy Fallon’s Show This Week

John Cena was announced to be among the guests for the June 9th episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Cena will likely be promoting the new season of his American Grit reality TV show on Fox premiering on June 11th.


Youtube Deals Another Blow to WCPW’s Revenues

British indie promotion WCPW has been dealt another serious blow to their finances due to recent actions by Youtube. The company stated their recent Fight Back show was removed from their channel and given a strike by Youtube who claimed the show violated their terms regarding spam and deceptive practices. Supposedly Youtube felt the logo of the show was too similar to their own and WCPW was using it to attack the company.

In recent months, Youtube revamped their ad policy meant to target hate speech and offensive content but also caused the side effect of wrestling being labeled as non-advertiser friendly. Previously WCPW had to cancel their free weekly Loaded series on Youtube due to being unable to earn ad revenues from these shows.


Alundra Blayze on Upcoming Mae Young Classic and Being a Guest Trainer

WWE recently uploaded a video interview with Alundra Blayze discussing being a guest trainer for WWE’s Performance Center and the importance of the upcoming Mae Young Classic for women’s wrestling in the WWE.


RevPro Announces Rey Mysterio vs Marty Scurll for Summer Sizzler 2017

British indie promotion Revolution Pro Wrestling recently announced Rey Mysterio will be appearing at their Summer Sizzler 2017 event occurring on August 17th at York Hall in London, England. Mysterio will be facing Marty Scurll in a singles match.


Cody Rhodes Done With Impact Wrestling

Brandi Rhodes recently revealed on Twitter her husband, Cody Rhodes, will not be returning to Impact Wrestling even though he is the current GFW NEX*GEN champion. While answering a question from a fan, Brandi stated Cody’s contract with the company expired a couple months ago and he is currently busying working for Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
