“WWE Did You Know” – Hell in a Cell 1998 Anniversary

In a “WWE Did You Know” type fact, yesterday was the 19th anniversary of the Mankind versus Undertaker match at Hell in a Cell 1998. The match is notable for the iconic moment of Undertaker tossing Mankind off the top of the cell which helped cement the Cell’s legacy as the most dangerous match and best way to end major feuds in the WWE.


“WWE Did You Know” – CM Punk’s “Pipe Bomb” promo

In another “WWE Did You Know” type fact, Tuesday was the sixth anniversary of CM Punk’s memorable “Pipe Bomb” promo. The promo was notable for being arguably Punk’s greatest promo in the WWE, spearheaded the ascension of Punk into a top star for the WWE, the “Summer of Punk”, and Punk’s “Best in the World” gimmick. WWE Set a New Record This Week

WWE ended up setting a new record in company history by having every major WWE TV show this week end with a women’s match as the main event, according to the Wrestling Observer.

This week’s RAW main event had a Women’s Gauntlet match to determine the #1 contender for RAW’s Women’s Championship, Smackdown’s main event had the second ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and NXT’s main event had Asuka versus Nikki Cross in a Last Women’s Standing match for the NXT Women’s Championship.
