Paige posted on Twitter that she got her “last x-rays” today after undergoing neck surgery in October. The timeframe for her to be cleared has been this summer and it seems like she’s on pace for that. According to PWInsider, if all goes well with the results of her x-rays today, she will be cleared for action soon after.
Whether or not WWE has plans to bring her back on TV immediately (or maybe at all) is another story, though. Last month, the rumor was that WWE had “no plans” for her and did not even know if she wanted to come back anyway, but obviously things can change. The Paige biopic, “Fighting with My Family,” is set for release some time in 2018 and speculation has been that the movie is the only thing currently “saving” her. She is under contract with WWE until 2019.
