WWE is currently working on new contracts for several of their United Kingdom stars while the future of the UK series on the WWE Network is in serious doubt, according to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews, and Wolfgang are all expected to be getting new contracts with the WWE. The new contracts includes pay increases from the original contracts of $20,000 per year signed prior to the United Kingdom tournament held earlier in the year.
The Observer’s Dave Meltzer also reported the future of WWE’s United Kingdom show for the WWE Network is currently in serious doubt. Meltzer stated plans in recent weeks have changed with not even officials certain the series will continue now that ITV is having serious problems with their own World of Sport wrestling show. The original plans were for monthly tapings to have started in June but at the moment WWE has nothing scheduled for TV tapings this month nor for the near future.
