Former TNA and GFW World Champion Nick “Magnus” Aldis, has left GFW/Impact, according to Dave Meltzer.
Magnus reportedly turned down a contract offer from GFW. He was the GFW Global Champion and dropped the title to Alberto El Patron and appeared to still be involved in the world title scene before losing a #1 contender three-way match against EC3 and James Storm, never to be seen on Impact again. He had only been working on a “handshake deal” so that he could drop the GFW title as part of Impact/GFW’s unification.
