Jason Jordan was only told about the “Kurt Angle’s son” angle last week, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, it appears that it may have been the plan all along, with rumors last month that a major angle was being set up involving American Alpha.
Interestingly, Pro Wrestling Sheet’s James McKenna had been posting these “hints” for the past month, though they could have just been educated guesses/speculation:
