Rumor: ROH/Indie Star Lio Rush Offered an NXT Deal

Indie wrestling star Lio Rush announced on last night’s Combat Zone Wrestling show that his final appearance for CZW would be on August 5. Rush also decided not to renew his contract with Ring of Honor in March this year after a two year stint.

It has been rumored for a while that WWE is very interested in signing him and according to PWInsider, the word backstage at CZW is that Rush was at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week and has been offered an NXT deal.
