It’s been a big month for wrestling games with Fire Pro coming out and a bunch of WWE 2k18 news, but if Fire Pro is NJPW and WWE is, uh, WWE, Wrestling Revolution 3D is the CZW of wrestling games.
The game has both a career and booking mode along with a bunch of wrestlers with fake names. Storylines will happen, and wrestlers will die. I had Paige die and I blame Alberto.
But with the janky engine, why would you play this over anything else? How about WAR GAMES? How about customisation of match types to the point of ludicrousness? A 30 man battle royal in a 5 inch ring and 30 tables stacked on top of each other that you can climb to the sky? Unfortunately, limb removal and TNT is missing, but hopefully comes back in an update.
Wrestling Revolution 3D is on Steam and currently $10 until 27th July.
