GFW’s Eddie Edwards won Pro Wrestling NOAH’s top title, the GHC Heavyweight Championship today in Tokyo, Japan, becoming the first non-Japanese wrestler to do so.
Edwards defeated former champion Katsuhiko Nakajima, who held the title for 307 days. The match took place at NOAH’s Summer Navig. 2017 Vol. 2 event.
GFW has a partnership with NOAH, with the promotions sometimes exchanging talent.
