Screen Rant is reporting that there are plans to do an action-comedy movie version of the 1980s show Knight Rider, and John Cena is currently being “eyed” for the main role, which was played by David Hasselhoff in the original series.
Kevin Hart is also being “eyed” as the voice of the artificially intelligent talking car, KITT.
As of now, nothing is official though, and the movie studio, the Weinstein Company, is only hoping to get Cena and Hart on board.
John Cena was recently announced for the lead role of a Transformers spinoff, “Bumblebee,” which is reportedly already in production. No word yet on if/when Cena will miss time for that.
