CMLL Cancels All Upcoming Events in Mexico City Due to Recent Earthquake

Mexico’s CMLL announced all upcoming events for Mexico City have been canceled indefinitely due to the aftermath of Tuesday’s earthquake in the country.

The official reason is due to a state of emergency declared for the city with the Mexican government requesting all sporting and entertainment events be put on hold till rescue and recovery operations are done. In regards to CMLL’s Arena Mexico and Arena Coliseo, both were recently declared to be safe to use after government inspections.

Booker T Hosting Podcast Fundraiser for Hurricane Harvey Victims This Sunday

Booker T will be hosting a podcast show on September 24th at 9PM in Hollywood, California with all proceeds going towards helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey. The podcast show will start after the end of WWE’s No Mercy pay-per-view event and Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Corey Graves and Dustin Runnels were announced as the guests for Booker T’s show.

Current Card for ROH’s Death Before Dishonor PPV

Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event occurs this Friday on 9PM EST at the Sam’s Tom Live hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be available on both traditional pay-per-view providers and the Fite App with the App currently offering $10 in credit for pre-ordering the event.

The current card for Death Before Dishonor:
*ROH World Championship – Minoru Suzuki versus champion Cody Rhodes. This is Suzuki’s first match in the United States in 25 years.

The first season of Southpaw Regional Wrestling is reported to be arriving on the WWE Network on September 25th, according to website WWE Network News. The comedy series is currently exclusive to WWE’s official Youtube channel.

Besides this week’s episode focusing on the Cruiserweight Classic tournament, WWE revealed upcoming episodes of Flashback Fridays will be focusing on Bruno Sammartino (September 29th), October Moments in Wrestling (October 6th), Friday the 13th (October 13th), Razor Ramon (October 20th), and Halloween Themed Events (October 27th).
