WWE: Jericho’s Contract, Emma Bookings, Tough Enough Winner Released

Chris Jericho’s WWE Contract

As mentioned earlier, Chris Jericho will be taking on Kenny Omega at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 4, 2018.

Dave Meltzer confirmed that Jericho is able to work for NJPW because his WWE contract expired and he’s currently a free agent.

Emma Taking Bookings

Emma, who was released last week and has changed her Twitter handle, said that she will be able to accept bookings starting February 1. That’s when her ~90 day non-compete clause expires.

Tough Enough Winner Released

Josh Bredl, the male winner of the most recent Tough Enough contest in 2015, has been released by WWE, PWInsider says.

He reportedly had not been training at the WWE Performance Center for a while due to concussion-related issues. After winning Tough Enough, he was given the name Bronson Matthews and moved to Florida to join the WWE Performance Center.

The female winner of Tough Enough from that season, Sara Lee, was also released in 2016.
