Tribute to the Troops Logistics

As mentioned, WWE’s Tribute to the Troops will take place on Tuesday, December 5 at “Naval Base San Diego,” and will air on USA Network on Thursday, December 14 at 8 PM ET.

According to Dave Meltzer, WWE will tape that two hour show in the early afternoon, then will tape SmackDown Live and 205 Live later in the day (5 PM PT local time for SmackDown) at the nearby Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. The troops show will only be for people in the military and will not charge admission.

Ticket sales for Raw, SmackDown and NXT in Houston were “not strong at all,” according to Dave Meltzer. Survivor Series, which was in the same building (Toyota Center), was a legit sell out though with an announced attendance of 14,478.

Before Raw tonight, these two matches were taped for Main Event:
