Why Bret Hart Wasn’t at Raw 25

Bret Hart was invited to the 25th anniversary Raw last night and WWE wanted him to be there, but he reportedly had a medical exam scheduled that day for his injured hand, PWInsider says, and he would not have been able to travel to Raw on the same day.

Bret underwent wrist surgery last year but has still been having lots of issues with his hand, having difficulties writing and drawing with it, so that was a priority for him.

He posted this on Instagram yesterday:

I’m sorry I’m not there for #Raw25.  I wish I was able to make it. I know I’ve had my fair share of memorable moments on the show.  Here’s to another 25 years of Monday Night Raw.
