Rumor: Season 4 of Lucha Underground to be Held in New Location

Lucha Underground is currently rumored to be holding tapings for Season 4 in a new location and not at The Temple, according to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported the company is currently looking at potential new locations for Season 4 tapings due to the unlikelihood they will be able to use The Temple in Boyle Heights, California for the upcoming season. Meltzer also reported Dario Cueto’s status for Season 4 is unknown and he may have already been released or may be among those planned to be released due to the company’s financial situation.

Terri Runnels on RAW 25 and Being Disappointed with WWE

Recent episode of the Cigars, Scars & Superstars with Terri Runnels podcast included the topic of Runnels’ issues with RAW’s 25th anniversary show.

Runnels stated she was disappointed that former WWE women stars were relegated to just a simple waving to the crowd segment. She also stated others invited had similar feelings about the perceived lack of respect shown by WWE towards them for the show.

“I wanted a brief moment, some sincerity, and I didn’t like that it went straight to this cartoon crap. I felt like, `You’ve got a lot of talent and we are just standing there waving.” She said that at 11 a.m. that day they were brought out to rehearse their wave and were then told that was their only role on the show. We all kind of dropped our jaws and were like, `You’ve got to be kidding me.’ I didn’t hear anyone express anything different than what I just said to you.”

Updated List of Entrants for ROH’s Women of Honor Tournament

As previously reported, Ring of Honor will be holding a Women of Honor tournament to crown the company’s first ever Women’s champion. Stardom’s Mayu Iwatani was recently announced as the newest entrant for the field of 16 competitors.
