Baron Corbin on His Failed MitB Cash In and When He Was Told it Would Happen

A recent episode of the All Things Wrestling Radio podcast had Baron Corbin as the guest and one of the topics discussed involved Corbin’s failed Money in the Bank briefcase cash in last year.

Corbin said that he only found out about an hour before SmackDown started that he was going to officially cash in his briefcase and would not be winning the WWE Championship from then champion Jinder Mahal.

“It was kinda like an hour before [SmackDown Live]. We discussed, and then they made a decision that was gonna be the night. It didn’t work out, but, yeah it was definitely about an hour before. I mean, it’s the fun part of this business. You never know what your day is gonna hold. Some things could be very, very last minute. It could be at that very last second. So, it’s pretty wild, and it keeps you on your toes. That’s for sure.”
