Charlotte Injury Update: Happened Before WrestleMania

As mentioned yesterday, Charlotte Flair suffered a ruptured breast implant recently and will need to undergo surgery to repair it soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the injury actually happened before WrestleMania, but Charlotte held off on the surgery because she didn’t want to miss her WrestleMania match with Asuka.

WWE then wanted her to wrestle at Backlash against Carmella and Charlotte wanted to wrestle on WWE’s European tour this week because of the money involved.

She’s expected to undergo the surgery at the end of the tour, which ends on May 20, and she plans to be back in time for SummerSlam.
